The fourth season of Doubling Down With The Derricos is returning to TV screens soon. The shooting for season 4 has officially started.
The news broke after Derrick Derrico made a post about it on Instagram. In his post, Derrick shared a photo of the Derricos getting ready to shoot for a fourth season.
Season 4 Filming Gets Underway
The last season of DDWTD was full of tragedies for the Derricos. First, Deon’s wife, Karen, revealed that she was pregnant with her 15th child
Sadly, that ended in a miscarriage. The pain of the loss affected Karen a great deal. The couple decided they would go for a break to Karen’s origins in South Carolina.
More tragedy struck just as they had decided to live between Las Vegas and South Carolina. As the third season drew to a close, Karen’s mother-in-law, fondly called GG, was re-diagnosed with lung cancer. The South Carolina move was postponed while she was being treated.
At that time, DDWTD fans were skeptical that they would produce a fourth season. Karen wasn’t too sure but hoped that TLC would sanction a fourth season.
Fans can now look forward to a fourth season with the Derricos. Karen revealed that in season 4, there is improvement in GG’s health, but she still feels pain.
The main thing fans want to know is if the Derricos will still move to South Carolina. It was plain to see the kids weren’t keen on the move last season.
What Should Be Expected In Season 4?
Now that filming has started, what can fans expect? For starters, the entire 16 members of the family are coming back. The main topic besides GG’s treatment will be the issue of the South Carolina move.
