Married At First Sight spoilers and updates tease that Mark Maher aka “Mark the Shark” is known for appearing on season 14 of MAFS and matched with Lindsey Georgoulis.
Married At First Sight Spoilers – Life Before MAFS
Mark graduated from North Quincey High in 2002 where he was active in basketball and baseball, and Lindsey even found a suitcase in his apartment full of old baseballs. Mark went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. While filming MAFS, Mark worked in the fitness industry selling gym memberships. After the show, Mark went on to manage a Chik-Fil-A and brand his own shark brand of clothing.
Mark admitted that he had been searching for Mrs. Shark since grade one, “I’m looking for the girl of my dreams. … I want to swim with her in the ocean and have baby sharks.”
Mark is an only child and his father died in 2019. During filming, his mother was in a rehabilitation home and his grandmother in a nursing home A lot for an only child to deal with. Mark loves cats, and he has three.
Mark was so ready for marriage and even on “elimiDATE.”

Married At First Sight Updates – Chaos
Sadly for Mark, the experience on MAFS was not what he was looking for. MAFS fans first impression of Lindsey was not a good one. She drank two bottles of champagne in the limo on the way to the wedding. Once there, she reached down into the top of her dress and almost exposed herself to get her vows. Walking towards the vow area, she let out a loud belch. Not the actions of a lady! Even Lindsey’s friends gifted Mark with a “Lindsey Survival Kit,” which included a NO buzzer. Basically, Lindsey had absolutely no filter and smothered Mark.
After the experience with Lindsey, Mark is not that eager for marriage anymore, “Going through it, it definitely changed me. It changed me in a way where I don’t really need [marriage]. If it comes, cool. If it doesn’t, I’m good.”
Wow, the experience with Lindsey seems to have changed Mark, he seems hesitant to jump right back into the dating pool.
