Solomon Isiah “Bear” Freedom Brown, Matt Brown, Joshua “Bam Bam” Brown, Gabriel “Gabe” Brown, Noah Brown, Amora “Snowbird” Brown aka Birdy or Bird, and Merry Christmas “Rain” Brown. Out of all the Brown children, Bird is probably the most fierce nurturer of them all. She is a strong woman who loves her family deeply.

Alaskan Bush People Spoilers – Snowbird Puts Her Life On The Line For Her Family

The Brown family has been through some tragedies in the past two years. In 2020 the family’s home was destroyed in the Washington wildfires. In 2021, Brown’s patriarch, Billy, passed away from a seizure. And, there was also Ami’s diagnosis of stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer. During these tragedies, Bird had pain in her sides, but she didn’t want to say anything, she was the strong one and felt like she was supposed to be there for her family no matter what. When the pain finally crippled Bird, where she could barely walk, she finally gave in and let Rain take her to the hospital. Once there, after several tests and urgent surgery, Bird found that she had two huge tumors on her ovaries. If she had gone to the hospital earlier, the surgery would not have been so hard, and the recovery so long. It took a lot for Bird to go to the hospital, but thankfully she did, and the tumors were not cancerous.

Alaskan Bush People Updates – And Again, For Alaska

Before Bird’s diagnosis, she was planning a trip to Alaska with Rain, Noah and his wife. They had mapped out the area and were soon ready to go, but Bird’s medical condition put their plans on hold. Noah loves Bird, but with or without her, he was going to Alaska to scout a new homestead for his family.

After surgery, Bird was told by her doctor that she needed to rest, and recuperate. But Bird was having nothing to do with it and went to Alaska. It didn’t take long for Bird to realize that she may have overdone it after a day of tracking down the old Brown homestead.

Bird has a huge decision ahead of her, she needs to start putting her health first. Her doctor told her that if she doesn’t have a full hysterectomy when the tumors do come back, they will have a higher chance of being cancerous. This means the surgery will help prolong her life but take away any thoughts that she had about having children.
