Chrisley Knows Best Cancelled By USA Network

chrisley knows bestThe USA Network has canceled the reality series Chrisley Knows Best. The network has decided to cancel the long running show that follows Todd Chrisley and his family after the patriarch and Julie Chrisley, his wife, have been sentenced to prison.

Chrisley Knows Best Stars Receive Lengthy Prison Time

Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to prison earlier this week after the reality stars were charged with bank fraud and more. Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years and Julie Chrisley was sentenced to 7 years behind bars. The couple have been staring in Chrisley Knows Best since its inception in March of 2014.

Chrisley Knows Best focused on the daily lives of Todd, a research developer, his wife and his kids living in Atlanta, Georgia before they made the move to Nashvillle, Tennessee in 2019. Because both Todd and Julie Chrisley will both be serving time, USA Network has decided to air the final episodes already filmed. After that, new episodes of the series will be filmed.

Savannah Chrisley To Raise The Kids

As far as Todd and Julie Chrisley’s minor children, their adult daughter Savannah Chrisley will be taking custody of their 16-year-old son Grayson and ten-year-old granddaughter, Chloe, who they have been raising.

“I have custody of a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old,” Savannah Chrisley shared during an episode of her podcast this week.

Leniency Not Likely For Todd, Julie Chrisley

A West Coast Trial Lawyer, Neama Rahmani, who has knowledge of the Chrisley case, has shared with People Magazine that Todd and Julie Christley will serve “85 percent of their sentence.”

The lawyer went on to add, ”And that’s the minimum they’re going to have to serve if they’re model inmates,” Rahmani says. “Unlike states where inmates can sometimes serve less than even half of their sentence, under federal statutes, you only get a slight reduction for good behavior.”

Aside from the end of their reality series, the Chrisleys are also expected to give up their homes, roughly worth $9 million. They are both due to report to prison in the New Year to begin serving their lengthy prison sentences.
