Counting On Alum Joy-Anna Sees A High-Risk Doc At 10 Weeks PregnantCounting On spoilers revealed that Joy-Anna Forsyth expects her third baby and she seems over the moon about it. Already, she raises Gideon and Evelyn, but she really wants this new baby. Bear in mind, she previously lost a baby. Happy and healthy so far, fans now hear that she needs to see a high-risk doctor.

Counting On Alum Joy-Anna Forsyth Was Glowing With Health

It’s not that long ago, that the daughter of Jim Bob Duggar shared a selfie that caught the eye of TLC fans. Although she was only eight weeks pregnant, fans saw that she glowed. Happy, and clearly excited about her baby, she made sure to check in with her fans often. However, a new video revealed her close to tears.

The Counting On alum told her fans in a new video, that it’s her “birthday week.” Actually, on her birthday, her husband Austin gave her a giant pickle. Saying that it was the “best” gift, fans joked a lot. However, her joy during the week seems a bit short-lived as she told her fans she needs to see a high-risk doctor.

On November 4, Joy-Anna took to her YouTube account and shared that she was going for a scan. Happy and smiling, she said that Austin stayed home and watch the kids. However, her happiness quickly faded. During the scan, things seemed okay. However, it’s not. Although she assured fans that her baby is okay, she’s at risk of blood clots.

Admitting that she doesn’t understand everything in medical speak, the Counting On alum was holding back tears. Apparently, she has “GHFR.” Elaborating, she said, “I don’t know all the medical terms but instead of having one strand, I have two.”  Apparently, she needs to get some “shots” every day and “take blood thinners.”

Seeing A High-Risk Doctor

Counting On alum Joy-Anna Forsyth told her TLC fans, “I’m gonna meet with the high-risk doctor … next appointment, but this is all a huge surprise.”

In the comments section of the video, TLC fans tried to reassure Joy. Sandie Kirkland, an RN told her, “The rates of pregnancy loss has definitely decreased with high risk care and medication. All the females in your family should be tested for this disorder as it is hereditary.”

Another follower, Deb Lepley, wrote, “Sounds like you have a great Doctor, Joy. Prayers and comfort for your healthy baby ❤️❣️.”

This comment from Louise Sproul also dropped into the chatter: “I’m so thankful you were diagnosed and it’s CRAZY that you and Carlin both have this!!! Have your sisters get tested too because through the Bates we found out it’s hereditary!”

We are pretty sure that Joy-Anna probably called Carlin Bates already as they are really good friends.
