Amelia Fatsi was matched with Bennett Kirschner in season 11 of MAFS, and she was looking for the right dress to match her quirky personality. She wanted something puffy with texture, and she found the right one. Iris Caldwell was matched with Keith Manley in season 9 of MAFS and she not only wanted a white dress, but she wanted a “pure white, white” dress. She wanted the whitest color they had in a wedding dress, shine in your face, bright, pristine. The whole point of her being in the white dress was purity. We all know Iris was a virgin, but are there really that many shades of white? Bao Huong Hoang and Johnny Lam were matched in season 13 of MAFS and she wanted to find a dress that was pretty and practical. She liked the swish and even more than that, she loved the pockets. Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette were matched in season 14 of MAFS and she went shopping for a dress prepared. She purchased ten other wedding dresses on her own, just in case she didn’t find anything. She was very picky with her wedding dress, but she found a good one, that went well with her cowboy boots.

Deonna McNeil and Gregory Okotie were matched in season 9 of MAFS. Deonna made buying her dress a family affair, her mother was overjoyed to see her baby in the dress. Deonna felt like she looked like a Barbie. Deonna did something right, she is the only one out of all these women who are still married, and she and Greg welcomed their son Declan in 2021.

Not only did bringing her family work for Deonna, but it also worked for Bobby Dodd who was matched with Danielle Bergman in season 8 of MAFS. He and his wife are still married and the couple has two children together, Olivia and Bobby. Looking for what he was going to wear at his wedding, Bobby brought his mom because she knows her stuff and wanted him to look back ten years from now and still love what he wore.
