Married At First Sight Spoilers: What We’ve Learned From MAFS

Married At First Sight

Married At First Sight spoilers and updates tease that after three failed seasons of MAFS, fans are really frustrated with the way the showing is going lately. In a recent interview, Justin Hall, who was matched with Alexis Mitchell in season 15, says he was asked in the interview process how he would react to being matched with someone who wanted to still go to clubs, he told them it was an automatic deal breaker for him, yet they matched him with Alexis, who was exactly that, a person who wanted to be matched but still go clubbing on the weekends with her girlfriends. Clearly, production and the experts are no longer listening to the applicants.

Married At First Sight Spoilers – Attraction

Probably the most important thing is attraction. There has to be some degree of attraction, or the matches are just not going to work. The only couple in 15 seasons to make it, and not that successfully, are Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner from season 1. Jamie was clear that she had no physical attraction to Jamie, in fact, after she married him she broke down on the floor and cried her heart out. They are now a family of four but are still in marriage counseling. They are the only couple where one was not attracted to the other and still remained married after Decision Day.

Vulnerability! The candidates are forced to open up to complete strangers over the eight weeks. That would be tough enough for anyone, but imagine two people not being attracted to each other, not having anything in common with each other, or like Alyssa Ellman in season 14, when she couldn’t stand the sight of Chris Collette, who she was matched with.

Married At First Sight Updates – Is It Worth A Free Vacation, Free Rent For Eight Weeks?

It really seems like a lot of the candidates only come on the show for the freebies. They can get all the freebies, the exposure, the likes, and walk away on Decision Day and not look back.

There has been drama overload the past few seasons which clearly leads to what Redditers believe is true, the couples are matched for the drama they can bring and not so that they can find love.

There have been a lot of 30’ somethings on MAFS, and if they haven’t found their person by then, perhaps a reality show is not the best place for them to find their happily ever after.
