My Big Fat Fabulous Life (MBFFL) fans knew that Whitney Way Thore’s mom, Babs was unwell. However, she seemed to be getting better on the TLC show. Often, updates from Whitney seemed very encouraging following her mom’s rehab after her second stroke. Unfortunately, she passed away, and this weekend, Babs was laid to rest. Trying to take some comfort from the loss, her daughter shared what helps her deal with it.
MBFFL Fans Tried To Comfort Whitney Way Thore
When the news arrived that Babs had died, Whitney told her followers that she died suddenly, It happened while she was watching a movie that she enjoyed. For her last minutes on Earth, her family cuddled and hugged her. Apparently, her death was not unexpected, but that doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking. So, love and comfort messages streamed in on the TLC star’s Instagram. After all, fans adored Babs and her husband Glenn. However, it’s hard to know what to say that comfort a bereaved family.
MBFFL fans were surprised when Whitney announced that the family decided to throw the visitation and the funeral, open to TLC viewers who loved Babs. It’s not clear how many went along, but many of them simply lived too far away to make it. Actually, Babs had become known via television across much of the world. One fan from Texas wrote, “Thank [you] for sharing. I wish I could’ve been there. I understand the pain of losing your mother.

MBFFL Star Whitney Shares A Long Quote
On December 17, Whitney Way Thore took to her Instagram and revealed some footage of the funeral. Clearly, she loved a quote about death that she shared. Certainly, it probably gives her some comfort. After all, humans seem struck by horror at the thought of never seeing their loved ones again. That, and the concept of forever seems very difficult to entertain. And that explains why so many people cling to the belief that we never really die. So, the daughter of Babs cited the verses about it by Henry Scott Holland.
Possibly the words that the MBFFL star shared have been read out to comfort the grieving thousands of times. And probably, the words cracked open the door to belief a little bit many times. In part, it said, “I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!”
‘Sweet Mommy And Best Friend’
When the MBFFL star shared about the funeral, she caption the overlay by saying, “Rest in peace Sweet Mommy. You were the best mother and my best friend.” She added, “I will, love you and live for you every minute for the rest of my life. “
