1000-Lb Sisters spoilers reveal that Tammy Slaton will get pretty emotional during this season of the show. In the latest episode of the show, she has to talk to a therapist in order to get approved for gastric bypass surgery. This is a very important task for her and from the looks of it, it’s not as easy as she thought it would be.
Tammy’s Break Down With Therapist
As Tammy spoke with her therapist, she had to talk about some of her addictions. As she was talking to her therapist about her issues with food, drugs, and alcohol, she began to cry. Her therapist asked her to dive deeper into why she had these issues. Tammy refused to tell her what she thought as she wiped the tears away from her eyes. Her therapist told her that if she can’t get to the root of these issues, she will never get past them. This could cause her to relapse.
In this season of the show, Tammy will open up more about how she almost died twice because she just stopped breathing. This is when she got very depressed and started to drink and smoke more. She also started to ‘party’ as a way to cope with it all. Her therapist tells Tammy, “Almost anything can become an addiction, what is it that you got from food, alcohol, or drugs, in the past?” Tammy tells her that she got ‘Nothing’ from these things in her past.
Will Her Therapist Approve Her
As Tammy speaks with her therapist, she tells her many times that she doesn’t want to talk about her addiction issues. Of course, this doesn’t look good for her. Her therapist really does want to be able to sign off for her to have weight loss surgery, but if she can’t move past these addictions, she doesn’t know if she will be able to. Tammy tells the cameras, “It was a hard time for me, a lot of mental health is letting go, I don’t want to go through that all again.”
If you have followed Tammy’s journey so far, you know that this isn’t the first therapist that Tammy has seen regarding her mental health. In previous episodes, she got a little irritated with one of the other therapists because she wanted to shut the door. Tammy told her that she wouldn’t fit in the room if the door was shut. It was quite an ordeal.
It does seem as if Tammy needs to open up more about her addictions, otherwise, it may not look good for her to receive weight loss surgery after all.
