Alaskan Bush People, (ABP) stars Raiven Brown and her husband Bear welcomed their second child this month, and they kept his name secret for a bit. Now she revealed the name of River’s little brother, Discovery fans reacted to their choices. Additionally, she talked about why their baby boy was kept in the NICU.

When Raiven welcomed her second son, it came during a scheduled C-Section. Not quite 39 weeks old, their bundle of joy went into the NICU. At the time, she told her Instagram followers, “he has a few things going on.” Naturally, Discovery fans hoped that all would be well. In another post, she mentioned that her son wasn’t struggling with weight. But, she didn’t explain what was wrong.
Alaskan Bush People fans were pleased that Bear Brown was around for the birth of his son. Recall, they ran into a few problems in their marriage. However, they reunited at Christmas. Clearly, he’s also thrilled to be a dad again. In fact, he seemed to think that his late dad, Billy might have sent him a message. Interestingly, many of their fans suspect that he did as well. However, it was only in the third photo that Raiven shared, that fans heard the name of their child.
Alaskan Bush People: Raiven & Bear’s – Baby Name
Raiven shared her baby’s name late on January 24. On Instagram, she revealed that they chose the name, “Cove Gabriel Caden Brown,” Plus, she confirmed that he arrived on “01/20/2023,” and weighed in at “7lb 15oz.” Next, she talked about why the kiddo was moved into the NICU. Additionally, she reminded Discovery fans that River also started out life in the special unit.
The Alaskan Bush People star explained in quite a long caption, that “Cove was born with premature infant lung disease.” However, he’s mending well, so hopefully. they can take him home soon. In fact, she mentioned that it’s more common in younger births, but her son was “one of those cases.” Meanwhile, she talked about River and why he stayed in the NICU.
River Had Different Complications
Alaskan Bush People fans heard that River’s complications resulted from being a premie after she suffered from “placental abruption.” Grateful that her new baby is getting better, she feels a bit frustrated though. Raiven wrote, “But cove being full term and having a random thing like this happen is frustrating! I was so excited and proud to have made it full term.”
