Married at First Sight spoilers and updates tease that MAFS fans were really hoping that 16 would redeem the franchise after failed seasons 13, 14, and 15 and that now seems to be the case, at least with one couple. The five couples this season are Christopher Thielk and Nicole Lilienthal, Airris Williams and Jasmine Secrest, Clint Webb and Gina Micheletti, Mack Gilbert and Domynique Kloss, Shaquille Dillon and Kirsten Grimes.

Christopher and Nicole quickly became the fan-favorite couple of the season. Both seem ready for marriage and to find true love. Nicole was fed up with the toxic dating scene and she said that the guys she did date never made it about her, only about them. Nicole comes from a very protective father, he loves his daughter and is going to make sure that she is happy, “my biggest concern, of course, as the father is how are you gonna treat my daughter? My concern, of course, is who is this person gonna be? Are you a criminal? Are you a scam artist? Are you, you know, just a bad person?” Chris assured Nicole’s dad that he signed up for the right reasons and will give Nicole the respect she deserves.

Chris was all in with Nicole the moment he met her and on their honeymoon, he let her exes know that “their loss, they let her go and treated her the way they did, and it’s my gain. Honestly feel like I’ve known her my whole life, not just three days.”

During their honeymoon, Nicole gets vulnerable with Chris and tells him about a time when an ex burned her with a cigarette on purpose. Chris leans in and kisses the scar. The guy is a keeper. Then there was when Nicole took all her makeup off and Chris immediately told her that she was beautiful, Nicole just melted.

It really isn’t hard to love these two, fans are all on board with them, “they’re sincerely looking for love and connection. They’re the willing to do the work to make it work.
