My 600-Lb Life Spoilers: Cast Member, Gina Krasley Dies, But How

My 600-Lb Life spoilers reveal that fans of the show were very upset to learn that Gina Krasley had died. She isn’t the only cast member to pass away since being on the show and it is never easy to see Dr. Now lose one of his patients. In fact, there have been quite a few who have died after appearing on the show.

Gina’s Story

When Gina sought Dr. Now’s help, she knew that she needed to get her health back on track. Gina loved one thing so much in life and that was dancing. As a child, she wanted to be a dancer when she grew up and her family said that she was always making up her own dances and teaching them to other kids. She would also dance with her sister and when she reached adulthood, she always talked about how “dancing has no size.” One of Gina’s goals in her life was to open up a dance studio for kids with special needs.

Gina had quite a presence on YouTube and social media and after she appeared on the show, her fans really did try to support her and cheer her on in her weight loss journey. Upon hearing that she had passed away, they were incredibly sad, but many of them, to this day, still help to show support and love to her family.

What Happened?

There isn’t a lot that is known about Gina’s death, but her family and friends continue to post tributes to her. She passed away on August 2, 2021, and she was in Tuckerton, New Jersey at the time. The cause of her death was not listed in her obituary, but her fans think it had something to do with her existing medical condition.

She had shared with her fans that she was suffering from cellulitis and had spent some time in the hospital already. For those unaware, cellulitis is a skin condition that causes some swelling, pain, and redness to the area that is infected. It can actually cause some serious health problems if it is not treated.

Gina did update her fans on the condition and mentioned that she had been severely dehydrated as well. She mentioned that the infection was being treated, but she was told to keep checking her anxiety. It had started to get so bad that it raised her heart rate and her doctors were extremely worried about it. There is still speculation as to how she died and how it had something to do with her weight, but the family never made mention of it in her obituary.
