My 600-Lb Life spoilers reveal that as fans are getting ready for a new season of the show, they are curious to learn where their favorite cast members are now. One of those cast members is Leneatha Reed. She is 43 years old and it looks as if she is currently living in Tempe, Arizona. From what her fans have found out, it seems that she grew up in that area as well. She is the youngest in her family and in 2018, it looks as if they lost their mother to an illness. this broke her heart. She seemed to have a very normal childhood, unlike a lot of the other cast members. In fact, she didn’t really start to gain much weight until she went to high school.
Leneatha’s Weight Loss Journey
When Leneatha was in high school, she weighed well over 180 pounds. This was when she knew that her weight would become an issue later on in her life. She ended up receiving breast reduction surgery when she was 24 and she began to gain even more weight. When she had this surgery, there were complications with her lungs collapsing.
She was put on life support at that time. After she recovered, she turned to a very unhealthy diet and this caused her to gain even more weight. She ended up very depressed and eating was her way to cope.
She decided that she needed to get Dr. Now’s help when her weight got up to 597 pounds! She gained attention very quickly while on the show and she ended up having quite a following of fans. These fans now want to know what happened to her since she doesn’t post very often on social media.
Where Is Leneatha Today?
Leaneath was on the show for one season and she had a lot to handle in the meantime. She was married before and that relationship seemed pretty toxic. He became verbally and emotionally abusive and this didn’t help with her eating habits. She left that man, but it turns out she met another man and fell in love. They have a daughter together, Kenlyn and she is around five years old now. She is no longer with him though. No matter what has happened in her life, she does seem very happy these days.
She has shared very little on social media, but from the looks of it, she is doing well. Her pictures show her looking pretty healthy and it looks as if she is trying to keep the weight off.
