Mind you, she did say that she wasn’t feeling well at the time. Anyway, since then, she has shared some photos of her nephew. Now an old one resurfaced on social media, and TLC fans are fuming. 1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Struggles With Obesity
Both Tammy and her sister, Amy Halterman struggle with their weight. Actually, it seems to be a problem with most of their family members. Their sister, Amanda had weight loss surgery before the show started. Meanwhile, their brother Chris started his journey in support of Tammy. Additionally, fans saw that her doctor warned Amy not to fall pregnant too soon after her surgery.
1000-Lb Sisters fans know that Gage is a cute little boy. However, he’s much bigger now than he was in the recently resurfaced photo of him with Tammy. He’s two years old now and his mom claimed some rather astonishing things about his intelligence levels. According to a post she made in April last year, he started talking at four months old. However, fans worry that the little guy might inherit unhealthy eating habits and become morbidly obese as well.
Furious 1000-Lb Sisters Fans Slam, Tammy With Gage
Tammy doesn’t often post photos of herself with Gage Halterman or his little brother, Glenn. However, one photo that looked very sweet showed him next to her. Unfortunately, TLC fans spotted him possibly drinking something out of a soda can. Now, Tammy and Amy know that their doctor warned them off drinking soda. So, shocked fans took to the comments section when 90 Day and Reality TV News shared the photo on Instagram

Why does he have a can of soda?? Really?? Poor kids don’t have a chance. The nutritionist that came obviously didn’t get through to her.
Take that can of pop away from the baby please. It could cut him . All sorts of bacteria on the lid . It’s bad for Gage.

Why Are Sodas Bad For Kids?
1000-Lb Sisters fans who fumed about Gage don’t know if he actually drank anything from the can. Still, it’s not beyond possibility that he did. According to Web MD, “public health officials call [sodas]…Liquid candy.” Full of sugar, they can cause children to become overweight.
Meanwhile, artificially sweetened sodas can also cause problems with children eating more calories during the day – Consumer Reports.
