1000-Lb. Sisters: Tammy Slaton Says God Truly Blessed Her with Husband Caleb
1000-Lb. Sisters spoilers reveal that according to E! News, Tammy and Caleb Willingham are still in the honeymoon phase of their brand-new marriage. The TLC personality married Caleb in November 2022 and, barely two months later, she’s still enjoying the novelty.
“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” the reality TV star tells the outlet. “God truly blessed me.” The couple tied the knot at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio (via PEOPLE). After the wedding, the TLC star said proudly, “You all knew me as Tammy Slaton, but now you’ll all know me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham,” adding, “I’m married now!”
The Best Day of Our Lives
Tammy Slaton met Caleb while the pair were in rehab together. She still resides there, after undergoing successful gastric bypass surgery and remaining there to recover, and the facility also served as the backdrop for their wedding vows.
Caleb was also at the facility dealing with his own obesity-related health issues. Speaking of the couple’s big day, Tammy said, “It was the best day of our lives,” adding, “There was so much love in the room. I’m thankful that so many family members and our family from the rehab were able to come.”
Tammy Slaton is Living Life to the Fullest
Tammy reportedly knew that Caleb was the one when he was able to “quite literally” sweep her off her feet. “When we had our first kiss he leaned forward and hit the control switch,” Tammy said, “and drove right into me knocking me back into my wheelchair.”
Tammy has informed us that, in addition to the wedding, the fourth season of 1000-Lb. Sisters, currently airing on the TLC Network, will continue to detail the ups and downs of her weight loss journey. “I haven’t felt this good in a long time,” Tammy shared. “I’ve got a lot more energy. I’m living life to the fullest.”
Tammy Slaton Tells Fans – Don’t Care What the Next Person Thinks
Now that Tammy is apparently reaching a fullness in her life, she is turning to fans, hoping that her candidness will inspire them as well. “Don’t be afraid to try new things, put yourself out there, live a little but remain humble and focus on you,” she tells them. “And don’t care what the next person thinks.”
