Honey Boo Boo spoilers reveal that fans that have been keeping up with Alana Thompson are very proud of how far she has come since her days on Toddlers and Tiaras. Back when she was on the hit TLC show, she showed off her very outspoken personality. Her mother, Mama June Shannon was filling her up with candy and sugary drinks. Alana was busy competing in beauty pageants for young children and hopped up on “go-go juice.” Now, Alana is a bright teenager with a great future ahead.
What Happened to Alana?
Alana is now a senior in high school and doing very well. She is dating and enjoying her life. Her mother has since parted ways from her children and is still trying to repair her relationship with them. As much as Alana wanted to focus on her education, she is still in the spotlight.
She has continued to struggle with her weight, but she has kept her fans updated about changing her diet and exercise. It looks as if she wants to work on that even more. Her health has become very important to her, especially after watching her mother go down a vicious cycle of drugs, alcohol, and abuse.
There are many goals that she has in mind too though. In the future, she does want to do everything she can to be her best. She wants to keep making money and she said she works hard to maintain her straight A’s in school. Overall, Alana is very proud of herself and how far she and her sister have come since their mother left.
Alana and Pumpkin Efrid These Days
When Mama June decided to choose drugs and alcohol over her daughter, Alana’s sister, Pumpkin Efrid decided that she had to step up and be a mother to her baby sister. She ended up legally adopting Alana, and with the help of her husband, Josh Efrid, the couple has turned Alana into a great kid! June has tried to work on her relationship with her daughters, but it doesn’t seem as if they are ready to take her back in full. They have been through a lot and they want to stay positive and move forward.
Fans of Alana feel that her mother has been choosing men over her children for years. They feel as if she and Pumpkin should just stick together because it doesn’t look as if June has changed her ways at all. She may be sober these days, but it still doesn’t seem as if her kids are that important to her. Fans will continue to push Alana to do what is right for her no matter what she has been through in the past.
