‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton’s Brother Chris Gives Honest Feedback About His Sister and Caleb’s Relationship

Tammy Slaton made her debut on the TLC show alongside her sister, Amy Slaton, to document the progress in their weight loss journey. The two helped and lifted each other until they were qualified to undergo bariatric surgery. During its first season, Amy was the first one to experience the surgery and lost more than 100 pounds until the end of Season 3. However, Tammy struggled to maintain the diet and exercise that her doctor has prescribed to her.
As a result, the TLC star became demotivated in achieving her ideal weight. Tammy spent a lot of time drinking alcoholic beverages and eating unhealthy foods as she went out partying with some friends. When Dr. Charles Procter Jr. paid a visit to Tammy’s home in Dixon, Kentucky, he encouraged his patient to go back on track. She agreed with the idea and started to go into rehab to help her heal from her food addiction.
Chris Combs Asks Caleb Willingham’s Real Intentions
The TLC’s official Twitter account posted a clip from the show, where Chris asked Caleb about his intentions over Tammy. He stated that the two must have taken the time to know each other better before deciding to tie the knot. Moreover, he told Caleb that the people surrounding Tammy in the past were not a “good influence on her,” leading her to party all night and devour unhealthy foods and beverages.
With Tammy’s terrible past experiences, Chris was just concerned that his sister might come back to her old behavior. On the other hand, Caleb expressed his thoughts about the matter. He understood Chris’ sentiments and stated that he had “no plans” to let Tammy live a miserable life again. Meanwhile, in the world of social media, TLC fans applauded Chris for showing extreme care for his sister.
Tammy Slaton Gets ‘Speechless’ After Caleb Willingham Popped the Question
In other news, Tammy talked about her engagement day and revealed that she went speechless at her husband’s gesture. During confessional, Caleb stated that he gathered the TLC star alongside their friends and the staff in the parking lot. Everybody cheered their hearts out when the man expressed his love for Tammy and popped the question.
On the other hand, the reality star was over the moon and nodded her head, agreeing to Caleb’s proposal. She stated that she got speechless “for once” as she can’t believe that she was finally engaged with the man of her dreams. “We’re engaged! I know it’s only been three weeks, but I’ve never felt this way about anybody,” Tammy told the cameras.
