Honey Boo Boo started growing up and decided she didn’t want to be known by her moniker anymore. So, she decided to be her authentic self: Alana Thompson. However, the name stuck and the Mama June star still goes by that name on Instagram. Actually, she’s set on a career and her prom is coming along. Now, imagine if your creativity was worn by the brand Honey Boo Boo. Well, that might just happen if you have some talent.
Honey Boo Boo Goes To College
WEtv fans found out that the Mama June: Road to Redemption star was accepted into a college program last year. Many of her fans felt relieved that she seems serious about a career instead of breeding kids at a young age. While they admire her sister, Pumpkin, they would prefer that she had lived her life and made a proper career before raising four kids.
Honey Boo Boo seems determined to become a neonatal nurse. However, she has visions of herself as her life progresses. Another dream of hers she has yet to fulfill is to have a music career. In fact, she might even keep part of her current brand and become rebranded as Big Lana Or The Boo Boo. But first, she wants a dress for prom night.
Honey Boo Boo Needs A Custom Prom Dress
On March 9, the Road To Redemption star took to her Instagram stories and posted up about needing someone to make a custom dress for her prom. Calling her followers to “Attention,” Alana marked her card with “PROM.” Then she wrote, “who can custom make me a prom dress before April 22nd? Next, she added, “Hurry y’all.”
Honey Boo Boo isn’t planning on getting a dress for free, either. In fact, she noted, “I’m even willing to promote and pay.” That sounds like a great opportunity for fashion students or keen dressmakers to perhaps get a boost from the WEtv star. After all, she wasn’t calling on a known fashionista to make her dress.
A Chance For WEtv Fans To Showcase Their Creativity?
Honey Boo Boo and her family will return to WEtv in a new season of Mama June: Family Crisis in May. Actually, it’s not clear whether fans will see the TV star at a prom. But, it seems like awesome timing if she accepts a dress designed by one of her fans ahead of the new season of the show. Certainly, it probably won’t hurt to try and DM her about it on Instagram.
