Married At First Sight Spoilers – MAFS Reviews

Looking back at the worst reviews, most are coming from 2021 to 2023. Before that, MAFS fans seemed to be enjoying the match-making experiment. One fan said that Chris Williams from season 12 ruined the show and we can’t argue with that to some degree, but he can’t have full credit, because there are others who ruined it as well. Chris was unfit to be matched with Paige Banks, he should have been immediately removed from the show when it was discovered that he got his ex-fiance pregnant six weeks before he walked down the aisle with Paige. Letting him continue was giving Chris’ behavior a thumbs up. But his behavior is not the only one that got a thumbs up. In season 14 there was Alyssa Ellman who was matched with Chris Collette. She refused to share a room with him on their wedding night and on their honeymoon, and she would not sit near him on the plane to their honeymoon. She kept saying over and over that she wanted to be portrayed as a “good person” but she acted like anything but that. She repeatedly ghosted Chris and talked behind his back to production and the crew, all while the cameras were rolling. It got so bad that her own mother told her to stop being mean to Chris. When they returned from their destination trip, Chris told Pastor Cal he wanted his Decision Day, he had had enough, and the marriage was over for him. The marriage was over, but the process was not over for Alyssa, she still wanted the free apartment and to hang out with the other couples.

Married At First Sight Updates – Fans Are Unhappy

MAFS fans are not happy and have a lot to say, whether on Reddit or Google, “The last few seasons have been getting worse. Now the 12,13 & 14th season has added body shaming, emotional abuse, pet neglect, adultery, personality, and mental disorders that need immediate intervention. Wow, all in the name of drama. Good people are getting hurt and the experts don’t intervene,” and “have watched this show from the beginning. I have rooted for some, cried with some, and wondered what the professionals were thinking when pairing the couples. It’s getting worse every year.”

MAFS’s narrative really appears to have changed from matching people for the right reasons to creating drama-filled train wrecks. The edits have become obvious and some of the cast is unlikeable.

  1. […] Nobody can deny that Kirsten was bold when she told Shaq that he had to buy her home, she was actually so matter of fact that many MAFS fans felt like they were being pranked, it just didn’t seem real that someone could say what she did, how she did. She was bold in the absolute worst way possible. Then, Kirsten went on and on about her father being such a great provider, he provided everything including big Christmases, yet his mom divorced him. He provided, but couldn’t hold a marriage together. Not sure how she thinks he was such a good role model for her marriage. Perhaps the divorce was caused because her father struggling to pay for a lifestyle he couldn’t afford – when Kirsten showed Shaq her childhood home, she said three children shared a room with bunk beds and it didn’t look like the 2.9 million home she showed Shaq that would be perfect for them.
