Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Kody Brown is still getting backlash for the way that he treated his wives before they left him. His daughter, Gwen Brown has started to reveal her feelings about Christine Brown’s relationship with him. She has slammed her father pretty much every week as she watches back to the previous season. On her YouTube channel, she has been very vocal about how she felt about the last season. Now it turns out that she is telling her fans that she felt her mother was held hostage in her marriage to Kody.
Gwen’s Recent Video
It didn’t take Gwen’s fans long to see just how upset she was over another episode of Sister Wives. As Gwen watches these episodes back, she has shared her commentary about her father’s treatment of the others wives. Gwen told her followers that she was a little shocked to see that Kody said, “Maybe I should have told her that I didn’t like her, but what I didn’t do was I didn’t quit.” Gwen then clapped back saying, “I think it’s more cowardly to be in a relationship where you don’t love somebody than it is to leave instead of experiencing heartbreak.”
Kody then mentioned that Christine’s independent spirit was a little too much for him at times. This is where Gwen chimed in, “What’s she supposed to do if she’s not independent? He has three other wives. What’s she supposed to do? Just sit in the corner and braid her hair?” Gwen then added that she thought her father had too many double standards for his wives and it didn’t seem as if any of these relationships would ever work for him.
Kody Called Massive Misogynist
Gwen was quick to call her father out as she watched the episode. One of her fans called him a “massive misogynist” and Gwen had to stand her ground as well. She told her fans, “I’m just glad it’s not something I inherited because that would be such. I think the way he was raised made it difficult for him to get out of those ideas- which is not an excuse. You can get out of the kind of thoughts that you think. Dad’s opinions and thoughts tend to benefit him, I think, so that’s why I assume he chooses to think that way.”
Not only did Gwen talk about his treatment of her mother, but she also feels as if he manipulated Meri Brown into staying in their marriage as well. It turns out that he may have been holding more than one of his wives, hostage, in their marriages.
