Mama June Shannon Has Chosen Where She'll Stand In Her Daughters' Lives After Family Tension

Last year came with a lot of stress and struggle in the family of reality tv star Mama June Shannon.

From her weight loss journey, to her addiction scandal, to her issues with the law, and lastly which is the biggest blow, losing the custody battle of her youngest daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 17, to her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, 23.

In the family’s latest WEtv show “Mama June: Family Crisis,” viewers saw how much effort Mama June is putting to correct her mistakes and bring her family back together.

Because she wants to repair her broken home by being in her daughters’ lives, she sought a therapist. As it is, things are gradually moving well for the 43-year-old as she was present at Alana’s high school graduation early this month.

Two months ago, TMZ broke the news that Mama June’s eldest daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell has been diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer.

Although the news is a sad one, it seems to have made Mama June’s intention to no longer be an absent parent in her daughters’ lives stronger.

Earlier this week, the “Mama June: Road To Redemption” alum confirmed to “The U.S. Sun” that she and her husband Justin Stroud would soon relocate to Georgia from Alabama in order to take good care of Anna.
