My 600-Lb Life spoilers reveal that fans have started to wonder what happened to Ashley Bernard after her time on Season 8 of the show. Ashley was living in Louisiana when she decided that she needed to get help with her obesity. She appeared on the show in 2020 and at the time, she weighed in at 637 pounds. Ashley had some terrible health problems because of her weight and she had to rely on her family for help. It was painful for her to move or to get up and walk. They did everything for her and she was pretty much bedridden. She knew that she needed to get help from Dr. Now.
Ashley’s Excuses
When Ashley went to Dr. Now, she seemed to have a list of excuses as to why she was overweight. Dr. Now told her that he really didn’t care for her excuses and if she wanted to lose the weight, she would have to do it all on her own. She told him that she was a sexual assault survivor and that was the reason she was obese. Of course, Dr. Now told her that she needed to get therapy for that since it was just an excuse. After chatting with him, Ashley started walking on the treadmill and decided that it was time to lose weight.
As Ashley worked harder to lose weight on her own, Dr. Now was quite impressed with her. After she started her weight loss journey, Dr. Now did approve her for weight loss surgery and she was on her way to her goal weight.
Where Is She Now?
Ashley was very active on social media when she was on the show and it seems as if she still posts here and there. After a year on Dr. Now’s diet, she lost 133 pounds. She wasn’t ready to stop there though. She is a single mother now and she is still pushing herself to lose more weight. From the looks of her Facebook account, she has been sticking to her diet and still dropping the pounds. She is very active these days and still works out and now it looks like she is under 400 pounds.
Her pictures and videos show her looking very happy and healthier than ever. She recently shared a photo of herself and captioned it, “Beauty is not defined by the shell of a person, it’s beauty within.” She is still looking to lose weight and keeps pushing herself to do more.
