Married At First Sight Season 16 Spoilers: Airris Spills The Tea – Shaq’s Decision Broken Down

Married At First Sight spoilers and updates tease that ten strangers were matched and married this season; Christopher Thielk and Nicole Lilienthal, Airris Williams and Jasmine Secrest, Clint Webb and Gina Micheletti, Mack Gilbert and Domynique Kloss, Shaquille Dillon and Kirsten Grimes. Out of all the couples, only Chris and Nicole are the only couple that decided to stay married. Since Decision Day, there has been plenty of he said/she said, and some are not holding back.

Jasmine says that the reason that Airris asked for a divorce is that he never tried, and when he met with her family, it was just an act he was putting on. Airris says that it all came down to his being unattracted to Jasmine, and they had in-depth conversations about it. In no uncertain terms, the first night when they returned from the honeymoon, he told Jasmine the specific reasons why he was not attracted to her, but he will not reveal those personal reasons publicly. One thing positive about Airris, at least when he realized Jasmine wasn’t for him, he didn’t get intimate with her like the previous MAFS cast.

Married At First Sight Updates – Shaq

MAFS fans will recall that on Decision Day Shaq said that he didn’t feel like he could be the man that Kirsten wanted him to be, yet she said he could be and he didn’t have a conversation with Kirsten about his saying no, it was a complete shock to her on D’ Day. On Afterparty, Shaq broke down what he meant about being the man Kirsten wanted him to be. He said that because she wanted him to be more like her dad and he felt he couldn’t measure up because he only met her dad the week of D’ Day. The solution was easy, he just needed to say yes and take more time to see if it could work between him and Kirsten. At the end of the day, his excuse didn’t have any substance. Airris chimes in and says he told Jasmine before they were on camera to make their decisions that it was going to be a no, and that is what Shaq should have done as well. But Shaq does have regrets, if he could do it again he wouldn’t shut down so much, a lot of it wasn’t Kirsten, it was school and work and he didn’t see it until he watched back.

At the end of the day, both men are missing out on great women.
