Later, they sit down and he tells her that he would like to plan a trip to Chicago so she can meet his friends. The big thing, he wants to get all moved in and see how their styles mix and match. She is more frivolous, he is more practical. And, their spending habits differ, and he sees that more than ever when they go furniture shopping.
The other couples, Airris Williams and Jasmine Secrest, Clint Webb and Gina Micheletti, Mack Gilbert and Domynique Kloss, Shaquille Dillon and Kirsten Grimes, are all divorced and trying to find their way now that they are returning to single life.

Jasmine has a date and she is so excited to be officially back on the market. Jasmine calls her date “friend boy,” they get each other, but she just went through a marriage that was super draining so she isn’t ready to introduce him to the world. She has no emotional barriers because of her divorce. She knows now what she wants, she wants her husband to be attractive to her, he says he is really attracted to her, she is a gorgeous girl. He grabs her hand, she leans in for a kiss.
Kirsten meets with a Career Coach, she is trying to plan her life out, and she is a little lost after the breakup and divorce. She wants to get into investing, flipping, and fixing. She wants to be married and have children, but she is not rushing back into the dating scene. Sometimes she didn’t always express how she feels, but she is learning to talk more through situations. She wants to better herself overall.

Clint has a date, her name is Nicole and she is 35 years old, it’s a blind date, a friend of his set it up because they have similar interests. She is more his type, fit and toned, with red hair. They play frisbee and they sit down and enjoy a drink together. She says health and fitness are important to her, she goes hiking with her two dogs. She is divorced too, she is at a point where she knows what she is looking for and is very intentional. Her deal breakers are redheads, she thinks it is because she is redhead and people will think they are related. Awkward!
