Teen Mom Alum Kailyn Lowry Wants To Be The Next Kim Kardashian?

Teen Mom 2 alum Kailyn Lowry was on MTV for years but she left when she turned down appearing on the new Legacy show. Well, she does her various podcasts and doesn’t really seem to need the cash from the network. However, she’s thinking about a new show all about her and her family. And, she wants some strict conditions to be met, just like the Kardashians.

Teen Mom Alums Like Kailyn Lowry Want Their Own Shows

In February this year, the news arrived that Leah Messer wants her own show.  At the time, she said that she wants a show that was about her and her family. Additionally, she noted that they devoted more than a decade of their lives to filming for MTV. So, as a family, they want to look for more opportunities to tell their story. Anyway, reactions on social media were underwhelming. Now, it looks like Kailyn also wants a show but with another network.

The shows in the Teen Mom franchise seem to be dwindling in popularity. So,  fans might wonder if anyone will be interested in a show all about Kaylin and her family. Apparently, she’s mostly been in front of cameras during her career and she misses it. So, her rather short-lived hiatus seems to have waned now. Anyway, it was discussed on the Coffee Convos podcast that she does with Linsdie Chrisley. Of course, she had way less time than Kailyn on her dad’s reality TV show, Chrisley Knows Best.

Teen Mom: Kailyn Lowry Has Plans Already Worked Out

The Sun reported about Kailyn wanting her own show. In her conversation with Lindsie, she confessed that she does have some reluctance to film again. Actually, that’s because she pointed out that it was “a year in a half” since she last filmed. And, going back to a life of camera crews and schedules isn’t easy. However, she also said, “I had a meeting last week or two weeks ago about doing [a show called] Kail and the Chaos, and I was talking about all of my stipulations, and it was just based on my experience. It wasn’t anything crazy.”

Well, she does have years of experience, and no doubt, she’s wise to the ways of contracts. So, a list of demands to film a new show makes sense.  Probably, the Teen Mom star has access to a legal team to ensure that she’s not tied up in a way that could go bad for her. Actually, she filmed from the age of 17 and had a string of kids. Notably, rumors run around that there’s a secret baby and possibly twins on the way.

Amongst her demands, the outlet cited the Teen Mom alum, saying that “her demands…include having a producer credit and seeing the final cut before each episode airs – noting she wants similar controls that the Kardashians have for their Hulu series.”
