General Hospital Spoilers: Marshall Opens Up To Stella, Regrets Leaving His Boys When They Were Young?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that in the midst of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) shooting, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) opens up to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). With Curtis in serious condition, and Tommy Ashford (uncast character) dead, he wishes he’d never left his boys when they were young.
General Hospital Spoilers: If Only He Knew Back Then What He Knows Now
Marshall took the tests for schizophrenia after reuniting with his family, although it took a while for him to get his nerve up. He’d been on schizophrenic medicine for years only to find out the schizophrenia had been a misdiagnosis all along. He’d left his family for their own protection, fearing that his schizophrenia would cause him to harm them.
Besides, back when Curtis and Tommy were young, having a mental illness like that was a terrible stigma. He didn’t want to bring shame to the boys and their late mother Irene; the stigma is why she and Stella went along with the fake funeral.
GH Spoilers: What If He Doesn’t Make It?
His remaining son’s life hangs in the balance at General Hospital, even though he has the best of care and is somewhat stable. He pushed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) out of the way and took the sniper’s bullet at the Metro Court Pool, and thankfully there were a doctor and a nurse there. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came to give aid, Portia being in shock. Marshall is almost crying as he worries to Stella, what if he doesn’t make it; and they still don’t know who the shooter is or who the target really was. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) assumed he was the target but the sniper disappeared-is he hiding in a Metro Court suite, or in one of the penthouse offices?
General Hospital Spoilers: Marshall Ashford Feels Punished For The Past
Marshall feels punished for the past and his abandonment of his family, like karma is coming to bite him in the behind, and hard! Stella tells him not to be ridiculous, it doesn’t work that way and they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They can’t be sure who the real target of the sniper was, because there were bullets flying everywhere and SWAT was brought in.
Stella tells Marshall in no way should he blame himself for what happened, as they wait at GH to see if Curtis will make it. Soon as he’s stabilized surgery will be done-and in the meantime, Stella suggests they pray.
