OutDaughtered spoilers reveal that Adam and Danielle Busby have decided to share with their fans why they decided to take a break from reality television. As soon as their fans realized that they weren’t coming back to TLC, there were plenty of questions. There was speculation that the show got canceled, but after all of the rumors, the Busbys just had to open up about what happened. Now they have opened up even more to fans about why they did take time off and how excited they are to be back on the show.
A Much Needed Break
After taking two years off, the Busbys are back. They have been doing their best to raise their seven daughters and needed some time off to focus on life for a while. Their fans were incredibly shocked when they made the announcement that they were taking time off from filming. COVID had a big part in their break and Adam recently opened up to his fans more about it.
He said, “We were, like, confined to the living room and the kitchen pretty much. Filming a season of our show usually takes anywhere from three to six months, tops- but during COVID, it dragged on for the better part of a year. It just started to weigh on the kids, and us.”
He went on, “You could feel it in the room. So were like, ‘Man, let’s take a break. Let’s take a breather.'” Danielle then added, “We just kind of had to reassess, like, ‘What are we doing?'” The couple then said that the really needed to take important time to reconnect with each other and their daughters. Filming the show had put so much stress on them and COVID was hard on them as well.
Who Wanted to Come Back?
It turns out that the quints were the first to start asking if they would ever be on the show again. They told their parents that they were ready, but Danielle and Adam weren’t sure if Blayke was ready. Adam said, “I thought of all the kids, we would get the most push back from her, and that she’d be the most apprehensive to step back in.” Blayke ended up saying that she was ready and that shocked her parents. According to her parents, this has been Blayke’s best season ever!
The Busbys are so happy to be back and sharing their lives with their fans once again. Their fans continue to show them love and are ready to see what this new season holds.
